Has anyone else spilled stuff on their computer?

so far nothing happen the the key board but my CPU just recently bent crashed

I go through a keyboard & mouse about every 2-6 months and because my main network tower sits on my office desk (Office=Home Theater too ), I use it as a glass coaster and food pedestal. I don't do it intentionally, but because I'm always pacing around and the tower sits on the corner of the desk that's pointing toward the center of the room, I always put my drinks and shit I'm eating right on the tower, plus the top fans of the tower are great for cooling food.

I've spilled so much crap on comp hardware over the years it's not even funny. I don't even know if this could be considered "spilling" but I got pissed and tossed a bottle of Brandy I was drinking at a screen. It's kinda funny, the new tower I got around Christmas, has a huge grill on top, so like once a month I have to take it out to the garage, pop the panels and blow it out with my air compressor, cuz it gets filled with cigarette ash and crumbs.

Guess I'm the only one. Cant remember the last time I spilled anything on my comp. Though, as much as I spend on tech gizmos, my old lady would bust a gasket if she saw me hovering over my laptop with a greasy slice of pizza or something. So all the better I don't.

I use a laptop too, so im generally much more careful than I'd be with a desktop keyboard. You can't really replace it on a laptop... I definitely got crumbs and other crap in my old keyboard when I used to use a desktop, but never any liquids. I always put any drinks I've got either behind the computer monitor or very far away to not risk spillage.

I do have a couple of desktops, but yeah, I much prefer my laptop. All my work stuff is on it, and it's the only comp I have any of my steam games installed on. Plus, sitting comfortably on the couch > hunching over a desk.

i plugged my laptop into the tv and use it as my monitor as for key board and mouse both are wireless so just have to replace them if i damage it. back when i used a desk top i spilled coke on the key board didn't seem to damage it but it got sticky and i decided to use a cleaner on it unfortunately even diluted bleach doesn't play nice with plastic

just last monday I spilled water on my tower and by spilled I mean there was a leak in the ceiling. and by leak i mean pouring water directly on top of the tower when I got back from work, while still running.... THANK GOD TOWERS ARE RESILIENT.

Just now...beer went down the wrong tube while I had a big gulp waiting to go down...let me just tell you...you can't cough and hold beer in your mouth at the same time...tried it, it didn't work, sprayed beer everywhere...Keyboard included...

Dang not to long ago I spilled milk on my keyboard and some got on the front and side of my computer somehow it still works, I would have been screwed if the thing stopped working. Now I don't eat or drink anything near this computer.
